NASA Summer Soccer Leagues

Newark Area Soccer Association is excited to announce that we will be running a summer soccer league this summer! 

The location will be at our NASA complex, Alford Reese Park, 600 Baker Blvd, Newark, Ohio. League games will run through July and each team will play 6 games. Games will be played on 4 x Thursday evenings, and 2 x Sunday evenings. The price will be $300 per team for the 6 games. $100 deposit is required at the time of registration and the balance is due by June 23rd. Players can register as an individual if they do not have a team. This option is $45 per player. 

Deadline to register a team is June 14th.

First game day is June 30th. Final game day is July 25th. 

 

The leagues playing formats will be 5 v 5 (4 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper) and the max roster per team will be 10 players (that is only $30 per player for the 6 games with a max roster!!) Divisions will be split into 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, HS and Adult age brackets. Divisions may possibly be run as Co-ed divisions; this is depending on the numbers of registrations/teams we get. This will run in a similar way to our winter indoor leagues, and we will build divisions to make the most competitive games possible.

 

If you are an individual player who is interested in finding a team, please sign up as an Individual Player Registration and the club will attempt to build or find a team for your player.

  

**Anyone can coach a team, you do not need to be an official coach**

 

**Coaches build own team roster before registering and then register them as a team, $300 is a team fee not individual player fee

 

**If you are an individual player and are looking for a team or coach, register as a 'Individual Player' and NASA will look to find a team for you (we cannot guarantee the player will find a team, and will refund any player we cannot place). 

 

Steps to Registering a Team:

1. Contact players and build a team roster at home

2. Coach will then register a team, choose team name, and pay $100 deposit

3. Collect payment from players and pay the remaining team fee by June 23rd.
